- Disassembly. We completely disassemble, clean, and carefully inspect each component part.
- Evaluation. The spindle is systematically evaluated and you are quoted a firm price for rebuilding.
- Restoration. As needed, restoration includes hard chrome plating, regrinding of bearing journals and housing bearing bores. Our grinding professionals hold an accuracy of less than fifty millionths of an inch on internal diameters. Finished spindle shafts are balanced on a computerized Hofmann H10BK.
- Assembly. We use ABEC7 and ABEC9 precision bearings. All assembly is done in an environmentally controlled “clean room.” A run-in period tests every spindle at rated RPM for balancing, bearing temperature, and critical runouts.
- Shipping. We use a High Density Foam-in-Place packaging system to protect your spindle during shipment. This high performance system blocks and braces your investment to provide superior shipping protection.
